Koi Pond

Two koi turning through deep blue water — one solid orange, one red and white — among lily pads and open white water lilies. The water is built in layered blues that darken toward the stones at the bottom, so the fish read as suspended rather than floating flat. Fins are painted in fine pale strokes that catch light against the dark ground, and each lily centre is worked in yellow filaments. Quieter than the citrus work and cooler in palette. Suits a bedroom, an office, or anywhere that wants calm rather than punch.
